the topic i chose is science in Criminal Justice, my research introduction paper will be attached below for you to read and write about. With that in mind here’s the professor’s feedback on my research intro :

“Some good content. Review the instructions posted on Blackboard. Review APA format for references. You do not need in-text citations in your intro. Keep your writing clear, concise, academics, and objective. Please consider using the resources available to you at the university to help you improve your writing. Your first reference has the authors initials before the last name and includes the MD or the author, which is incorrect. All references must be in alphabetical order based on the last name of the author. You have some errors in your APA format for your references. “

Science in Criminal Investigation

This paper is focused on examining the criminology of the future, with a focus on how science helps to investigate crimes. The United States continues embracing DNA profiling as a forensic technique as far as criminal investigations are concerned (Tilley, & Ford, 1996). As such, the use of DNA aid forensic professionals to determine or even confirm an unidentified individual. Again, it is worth noting that forensic toxicology will continue helping crime investigators in the United States. This is primarily because it is an area of science that involves an examination of biological samples as the means to look for the existence of toxins as well as drugs (DK Molina, & Hargrove, 2018). It is known as a branch of forensic science that plays a tremendous role in conducting investigations that involve road accidents, poisoning, including sexual violence. It becomes of great significance to remember that without the use of forensic science, it would be difficult to convict criminals unless an eyewitness is available. As this country moves into the future, forensic science will play a tremendous role, especially when it comes to the criminal investigation as it, to a great extent, involves the careful examination of evidence while at the same time ensuring that it is not tampered with (Horvath, & Meesig, 1996). The work is highly based on journal articles, books as well as magazine articles, all of which help in carrying out research on the topic.
