As an IT manager, using an ERP system would be vital to allow for growth of the business. Without the ERP system, the business could suffocate itself in paperwork and ma hours needed to track all the details needed every day. However, the implementation of an ERP system is not solely the responsibility of IT. The IT department is responsible for assuring seamless integration with existing systems while also making sure all of the needs of the company are met and security is upheld, but interacting with the individuals who will be using this system very day is vital to assuring the system is properly set up for use. This ensures that the manufacturing of finished goods does not stop due to lack of materials. ERP is nothing but an integration software system to manage and maintain the important part of a business. ERP tools are used in different area of an organization likewise management, accounting, production, engineering, sales as well as marketing. Advantages of ERP in an organization:
