Integrated an ERP system into your company can be extremely beneficial depending on the needs of the company as well as the size of the data mass needed to process daily. For most businesses, an enterprise Resource Planning system allows for a much greater efficiency factor in day-to-day operations, greater control and foresight into resource usage and potential issues downstream, and if the company is a manufacturing company, being able to view in real time the completion of product and where it sits in the process.

As an IT manager, using an ERP system would be vital to allow for growth of the business. Without the ERP system, the business could suffocate itself in paperwork and ma hours needed to track all the details needed every day. However, the implementation of an ERP system is not solely the responsibility of IT. The IT department is responsible for assuring seamless integration with existing systems while also making sure all of the needs of the company are met and security is upheld, but interacting with the individuals who will be using this system very day is vital to assuring the system is properly set up for use. ERP system like Exact MAX are beneficial for having trace ability and a vantage point over the entire supply chain within a manufacturing company. It allows users to view component usage in real time and can alert other users when preset reorder points are triggered. This ensures that the manufacturing of finished goods does not stop due to lack of materials. Also tied with this specific ERP systems in an area for the finance department to perform their calculations o cost of creating a product versus the selling price. Keeping tbs on the profitability of a company is essential if the company is to survive for long.

ERP systems are meant to vastly increase productivity by either allowing fewer individuals manage more data than before or allow the same number o individuals handle more data than they currently do., meaning there is room for growth. The key to an ERP system is that they currently do, meaning there is room for growth. The key to an ERP system is that they are not size fits all. Do your research and due diligence to determine which ERP system is best for your needs.

ERP is nothing but an integration software system to manage and maintain the important part of a business. ERP tools are used in different area of an organization likewise management, accounting, production, engineering, sales as well as marketing. With the implementation of ERP solutions companies profit margin has grown to a different level in recent years.

Advantages of ERP in an organization:

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) products helped the companies to manage the large amount of data flowing the regular organization function and made it accessible with more accuracy to the users in less amount of time. This ERP function made the users happier and it obviously increased the growth of an organization. Another main use of ERP software system is, it helped the companies in decision making process where companies get stuck at majority of times. These two main advantages are the reason every company demands to implement ERP software solutions for their basic functions.

In the below referred case study, author is explaining the major benefits of having or implementing Enterprise Resource Planning solutions to their organization basis functions (Azevedo,2012). Author is trying to project the use of ERP system tools in hospitality industry and how it manages the data or information used in the industry to benefit the users. Mainly, as I described above ERP tools helps to maintain or organize large amount of data and provide the accurate information to the users at needful times. In hospitality industry, able to access right information at the right time save lives because it is always an matter of life and death in hospital regions.
