Task: To write a user persona to help you “profile” the potential reader of your resume and cover letter. You can decide which specific audience member you want to profile (recruiter, hiring manager, etc.) You want to try to use the information we’ve read and discussed in class to help you fill out this persona, but you also want it to be tailored to the specific organization to which you are applying. The goal here is to not only understand the informational needs of your user so you can effectively design your resume and cover letter. You also want to understand the “persona” or culture of the organization so you can make sure you are reflecting that persona in your own resume and cover letter.
